2026 Pesticide Clean Sweep August Dates Announced

WHAT is Clean Sweep?

The Indiana Pesticide Clean Sweep Pesticide Disposal Program designed to collect and dispose of suspended, canceled, banned, unusable, opened, unopened or just unwanted pesticides (herbicides, insecticides, rodenticides, fungicides, miticides, etc.). This disposal service is free of charge up to 250 pounds per participant. Over 250 pounds there will be a $3.00 per pound charge. This is a great opportunity for you to legally dispose of unwanted products at little or no cost.

WHO can participate?

All public and private schools, golf courses, nurseries, farmers, ag dealers, public, cities, towns, municipalities and county units of government or others receiving this notice are eligible to participate.

WHEN and WHERE is Clean Sweep going to be held in 2026?

Each event is 9:00 am to 2:00 pm local time.

HOW do I participate?

Complete the Clean Sweep Pesticide Disposal Participant Form to the best of your ability.
Tip for the form: Download and open within Adobe Acrobat to complete and submit. The form will not work in web browser view.

Submit your completed form to us by Friday, August 7, 2026.

Additional Information:

    • Bring your leak free and safe to transport containers to the collection site.
    • DO NOT mix materials.
    • Empty pesticide containers will not be accepted. Follow label directions for proper disposal of empty pesticide containers.
    • Bulk containers must be documented on the participant form will to be accepted.
